Speed and Conditioning Training
Speed, jumping ability, and strength. These are the three components of athletism. No matter what sport you play, you need to maximize your athletic ability in order to achieve your potential. We developed a sports specific program based on strength training and conditioning. With a combination of weight training, speed drills and plyometrics we help individuals as well as teams improve their athletic performance.
Assessment
After your initial consultation, your personal trainer will then perform a fitness assessment at our private training studio.
First, your personal trainer will review your health, lifestyle fitness, history and go over any conditions you may have and get as in-depth an understanding of your current physical condition as possible. Next, your trainer will perform a series of circumference and body fat measurements. Then, your personal trainer will perform a physical assessment to check cardiovascular condition, flexibility, and upper and lower body strength. The reason for this assessment is simple: to reach your fitness goals, you have to know where you are starting. This assessment provides you and your trainer a baseline of your physical condition, and will allow you to chart your progress regularly and see your improvements not only visibly, but with numbers as well (numbers don't lie).
Nutrition Coaching
A proper diet is just as important as regular exercise. It can increase your overall wellness, fitness and energy levels. One on One Body Solutions has can help you design a diet that is easy to follow and effective.
Based on a thorough assessment, a weight management program can be created that includes healthy eating strategies and realistic diet modifications, all of which can be incorporated with your exercise routine. We can offer you advice on menu planning, nutrition supplementation and healthy options for when shopping at the grocery store or dining out.
Boot Camp - What is it?
A four-week program of fitness instruction, nutritional coaching & motivational training provided by personal trainers hand-picked for Boot Camp by One on One Body Solutions.
Where are the boot camp locations?
Winter sessions will be held in the Kirkwood C.C. gymnasium . Cedar Rapids, IA. Check back for the spring outdoor location. For more information , call 319-573-5936.

January 7th, and February 4th .
What if I'm not very physically fit?
Regardless of your current fitness level, we can help you improve! NOBODY will be left behind or asked to complete more than they are capable of doing safely. Nor will anybody go home unchallenged! Participants of all ages and abilities are welcome to join boot camp. Each day of boot camp activity will slightly increase in intensity. You will inspire and be inspired by others.
What types of things do we do in Boot Camp?
Activities may include: core conditioning, functional training, short distance running (less than one mile), muscular strength, conditioning, jumping rope, circuit training, hiking, obstacle courses, PAR course, Pilates mat exercises, surprises and more! Designed to help you strengthen, tone, and lose fat, our program includes a variety of activities and exercises to keep you from getting bored of your routine.
Camps are held outdoors when weather permits or indoor during the winter months. Directions will be given at your pre-camp assessment, prior to the first day of boot camp. On select days, campers may travel a short distance away from the "base camp" for a fun hike day. You will receive your schedule at your assessment or at your first boot camp appointment with our Boot Camp Instructor or Personal Trainer.
What can I expect from camp?
Your body will become more fit and toned, and you will gain more confidence and self-esteem! You will look better and be more fit, but most of all, you will FEEL great, have more energy, and be doing something positive, productive, and proactive.
Why should I participate?
You will make a dramatic improvement in your physical and mental well-being. In addition, you'll meet great people who share your same passion for acquiring a more healthy body and mind. You will be finished with your training before the rest of the world has even gotten started! And, you'll be several hundred calories ahead of everyone else!
What is the cost (investment in myself)?
Each four-week boot camp has a registration fee of $120.00 for 12 Monday, Wednesday, and Friday sessions or Monday-Friday for $200.00. That's just $10.00 per session. Where else can you get premiere or cutting edge fitness instruction for that incredible price.
